About Hephzibah Farms
The Miller family decided they wanted a different way of life than what the suburbs of Chicago provided. They took the leap and the farm that has become Hephzibah Farms including the 100+ year old farmhouse has been home to the family since 2015.
The Farm
The farm includes a barn, an old milkhouse now used to raise fouls, pastures for the animals to graze, many maple trees, and a large pond.
Education
We give guided tours daily of the farm where you can find out more about all our animals and life on the farm. We also offer classes like how chickens grow and hatch and spinning yarn.
The Animals
Animals are a plenty on the farm. There are dairy and beef cattle. Sheep, goats, and pigs are all raised on the farm. You can find varieties of chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and peacocks. We also have horses and donkeys, many of which are rescues or have been rehomed from other farms.
Environment & Sustainability
We don't use any harsh or toxic substances on our farm. Our animals are raised without the use of hormones or antibiotics. We responsibly bred our animals and raise them humanly so that we can provide quality products to our customers.
