FIELD TRIPS
Interactive & Educational
Whether it's a class, grade, summer camp, homeschool group, daycare, Scouts, or any other group, our guided farm tours make for a fantastic and memorable field trip. Kids of all ages will get an up close look at a real working farm. Pet, hold, and feed a wide variety of animals, from rabbits to goats to miniature donkeys—and so much more! Our experienced guides will help your group interact with and learn about the many animals we raise. If there's a specific topic you want us to focus on, let us know! The farm is a great place for kids to see scientific ideas in action, including symbiotic relationships, sustainability, or just understanding where food comes from.
We can accommodate everything from preschool to high school. During the warmer months, we have had groups as large as 200. For groups of 20 people or over, you will have your own guide and will be separate from our group tours. For groups of 40 people or over, we recommend splitting into multiple groups that rotate through the different stations on the tour, so that everyone still gets a hands-on and personal experience. Tours typically last two hours, which gives you a leisurely pace to see all our farm has to offer. If you want to eat lunch on the property after your tour, we have outdoor areas for picnicking.
The admission fee can be paid on-site with cash, card, or check, or paid in advance via invoice. Prices vary based on the group. Please email us directly for pricing or to book your field trip.
FAQ's
Q: When is the best time to come?
Our tours are available year-round, but for larger groups we recommend coming during spring, summer, or fall, as our outdoor spaces are able to accommodate more people than our indoor spaces. If there is a specific topic or animal you are hoping to learn about, please contact us and we can help you find the best time of year to book.
Q: What happens if it rains/snows? Is the tour canceled?
We have two beautiful barns we can move animals into if the weather requires, however our indoor spaces do limit the size of the groups we are able to take. If you have any concerns, we are happy to help you reschedule your visit!
